Update: 4/1/2025 - Construction has been completed on this project.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces a project to rehabilitate a section of LA 17: Franklin P/L - Rundell LP Route 17 in Richland Parish.
The $2,749,608.10 project was awarded to D & J Construction Co., LLC, work began on December 8, 2024. Work includes Grading, Structures, Milling Asphalt Pavement, Patching, Asphalt Overlay, and related work.
Repairs on LA 17 will stretch from Franklin Parish Line to North End of Rundell Loop.
Intermittent lane closures will be necessary to allow for construction activities to take place.
The entire project is anticipated to wrap up at the end of March 2025, with progress dependent on weather conditions and other factors that can impact construction timelines.
