The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises that motorists will be shifted to the newly constructed LA 70 in both the eastbound and westbound direction, between LA 22 and the Sunshine Bridge. Please be advised that this lane shift will cause motorists to travel on the newly constructed LA 70 roadway, and motorists should expect modifications to driveway and roadway access along this corridor of LA 70. This lane shift will take place from Sunday, February 2nd at 8:00 PM, until Monday, February 3rd at 5:00 AM. Short term moving lane closures are to be expected during this allotted period. This shift is to allow the contractor to begin modifications to the existing LA 70 roadway. This lane shift is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
