***NOW OPEN: LA 883-1 in East Carroll Parish***
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, LA 883-1 in East Carroll Parish at the railroad grade crossing will be closed to all vehicular traffic beginning 7:00 am Monday, February 3. The closure is to allow for repairs of the railroad crossing.
Restrictions:
Closed to all vehicular traffic.
Safety Reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
DOTD reminds motorists that it is unsafe and unlawful to drive onto a closed road past a “road closed” barricade at any time for any reason.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
