****NOW OPEN: LA 877 in West Carroll Parish****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Monday, February 3rd, the LA 877 Bridge over Ali Bayou, near Epps in West Carroll Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge will be closed approximately 2.3 miles east of LA 17.
The closure is anticipated to last 1 week, and should be open Friday, February 7, 2025.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route:
A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
