**UPDATE- OPEN Crescent City Connection Bridge

UPDATE- The CCC Bridge is OPEN.
Update: 8:00 PM - NOPD has asked DOTD to temporarily close the CCC Bridge due to a number of accidents occurring on surface streets leading up to the bridge. Drivers can use the Huey P. Long Bridge this evening to cross the Mississippi River. We will update the status of the bridge early tomorrow.
The Crescent City Connection Bridge is now partially open to traffic. One lane is open in both directions.
DOTD’s emergency personnel will continue to monitor upcoming weather situations and will scout the area for safety on the roadways. Crews will be mobilized as needed in the event an area is threatened by severe weather conditions.
Safety Reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through areas that may be affected by accumulations of ice on the roadways, especially on elevated surfaces. Please be on the lookout for crews and their equipment.
