Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an emergency closure of the right lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound at Mile Marker 8.
This closure is in place until further notice. DOTD will issue an update once the closure is lifted.
The closure necessary for emergency roadway maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
