LANE CLOSURES I-20 Mississippi River Bridge in Vicksburg

**UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE IS DELAYED DUE TO WINTER WEATHER AND WILL NOT TAKE PLACE JANUARY 20-24.**
**SECOND UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE IS NOW SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 17-21.**
**SUBSEQUENT UPDATE: LANE CLOSURES WILL BE PRESENT IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ON MARCH 20.**
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that daytime alternating lane closures will be present on the I-20 Vicksburg Bridge the week of March 17, 2025, for bridge work.
Lane Closures are scheduled from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. It is expected that the westbound right lane will be closed March 17-19, and that the eastbound right lane will be closed March 20 and 21. UPDATE: Weather has forced westbound work to extend into March 20.
The bridge work will be performed weather permitting.
Restrictions: Maximum vehicle width is 10 feet during the lane closures. Lane closures will be removed nightly.
Detour: No formal detour will be established.
