3.8 miles from Angola Road (LA 66), Sligo Road will be closed to all thru traffic beginning Monday, January 13th at 8:00AM, in order to replace an old bridge with box culvers across Walter Creek. The expected date of re-opening the road is March 28, 2025.
Traffic will be detoured using Ouida Irondale to and from LA 66.
Emergency vehicles will not have access through the work site and will have to use the detour route.
