Emergency lane closure: LA 1138-2 (Nelson Road) SB right lane at W. McNeese Street – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced an emergency closure of the southbound right lane of LA 1138-2 (Nelson Road) starting at West McNeese Street and continuing 1,000 feet south.
This closure is in place until further notice. DOTD will issue an update once the closure is lifted.
The closure necessary for emergency roadway maintenance.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
