LA 44 (ST. JAMES PARISH) - THE FULL ROAD CLOSURE ON LA 44/RIVER ROAD SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2025 THROUGH THURSDAY, JANUARY 16, 2025 IS POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

LA 44 (ST. JAMES PARISH) – There will be a full road closure on LA 44/River Road from South Willow Street to the Entry/Exit Ramps of the Veterans Memorial Bridge from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily beginning Monday, January 13, 2025 until Thursday, January 16, 2025.

This closure is necessary to perform construction and modifications on the overhead conveyor belt structure above LA 44.

No thru traffic will be allowed during the closure times listed above.

Commuters may detour as follows: LA 3213 to LA 641 back to LA 44/River Road.
