UPDATE: The closure on LA 12 Sabine River Bridge has been lifted, and all lanes are now open.

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the LA 12 Sabine River Bridge near Starks at the Texas State Line will have alternating and intermittent lane closures starting now until 6 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025.
The closures are necessary for crews to clear a log jam. Flaggers will be present to maintain traffic.
DOTD will issue an update once the lane closure is lifted.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
