Calcasieu Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that both lanes of Interstate 10 Westbound at US 165 are open to traffic.

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that both lanes of Interstate 10 Westbound at US 165 are closed because of an accident involving an 18-wheeler.
DOTD will issue updates once the closures are lifted.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route of LA 99 to LA 102 to US 165.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
