***UPDATE***These closures will remain in place until 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that an emergency lane closure is in place for the following areas of Interstate 10.
- I-10 EB right lane from Mile Marker 9 (Exit 8) to Mile Marker 10
- I-10 WB right lane from Mile Marker 8 to Mile Marker 9 (Exit 8)
The closure is necessary for emergency roadway maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
