UPDATE: Lane closure: I-10 WB and EB over the Calcasieu River Bridge for routine maintenance repairs - Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The repairs are complete and all lanes are open to traffic.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of the following lane closures on I-10 over the Calcasieu River Bridge (MP 28.7):
I-10 WB right lane closure
- Monday, December 9 from 2:30pm until Tuesday, December 10 at 5am
I-10 EB left lane closure
- Monday, December 9 from 7:00pm until Tuesday, December 10 at 5am
The lane closures are necessary for routine bridge maintenance repairs. All work is weather permitting. Wide loads shall be restricted to 14 feet. Motorists may use I-210 as a detour route.
