The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that the Jackson St bridge on US 165 Business over the Red River will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 9:30 AM until 3:30 PM on Monday, December 9, 2024 and Tuesday, December 10, 2024 for work in the river by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The bridge is located on US 165 Business 0.11 miles east of LA 1208-3 between Alexandria and Pineville.
Permit/Detour section
Traffic will be detoured via I-49 and US 167 (Purple Heart Memorial Bridge).
