The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that construction work on LA 1204 (Camp Livingston Road)/LA 623 is complete and now open to the traveling public. No further impact to traffic is anticipated in association with this project.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, November 18, 2024, weather permitting, tree removal operations will begin at the intersection of LA 1204 (Camp Livingston Road) and Williford Road, and terminate at the intersection of LA 1204 (Camp Livingston Road) and US 165. The traveling public should expect alternating lane closures throughout the duration of this project. This project is expected to last until the end of December.
This maintenance project consists of tree removal, and roadway patching.
The contract was awarded to DSW Construction, LLC in the amount of $220,939.00.
Permit/Detour section
There are no detours at this time associated with the lane closures.
There will be a lane width restriction of 12 feet for traffic on LA 1204.
