LANE CLOSURES – I-220 in Bossier & Caddo Parishes
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following lane closures have been scheduled for I-220 in both Bossier & Caddo Parishes:
- Monday, November 18 – Thursday, 21, 2024: I-220 eastbound inside lane over Cross Lake for the purpose of repairing portions of the drainage structure on the bridge. Time frame: Approximately 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Sunday, November 24, 2024: I-220 eastbound outside lane over the Red River for the purpose of repairing a bridge joint. Time frame: Approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Restrictions/Permits: Please no oversized loads during the lane closure on Sunday, November 24th
Alternate Route: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
