The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Saturday, November 2nd, the LA 148 Bridge over Creek, south of Eros, in Jackson Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge will be closed approximately 3.0 miles east of LA 34.
The closure is anticipated to last 2 days, and should be open Sunday, November 3, 2024.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
