The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) is conducting an open house public meeting for the proposed project that includes mill and overlay in Houma, as well as the extension of one-way traffic on LA 24 (eastbound and westbound) out to LA 661/Howard Avenue. The purpose of the meeting is to provide information about the project and to obtain input from interested parties. There will be a continuous multimedia presentation about the project. Additional project exhibits will be available for viewing. Representatives from LADOTD will be at the open house to answer questions and discuss issues related to the project. Verbal comments can be recorded and written statements can be submitted at the meeting. Comments can also be mailed to the LADOTD address shown below, postmarked by December 20, 2024.
