UPDATE:H.001234.6 LA 1 Intracoastal Bridge Upcoming Northbound and Southbound Lane Closures – West Baton Rouge Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Southbound LA-1 will have intermittent left lane closures beginning Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, to November 15th, 2024, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. The lane closures are necessary to remove temporary concrete barriers, and to grind & groove LA-1 Southbound.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Southbound LA-1 will have intermittent right lane closures beginning Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, to November 15th, 2024, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. The lane closures are necessary for the replacement of the guardrail, filling in the barrier block out holes, and for the striping of LA-1 Southbound for the upcoming traffic switch.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Northbound LA-1 will have intermittent left lane closures beginning Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, to November 15th, 2024, from 7:00pm to 4:00am. The lane closures are necessary to remove temporary concrete barriers.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the I-10 Eastbound off ramp to LA-1 Southbound and Ernest Wilson Road ramp onto LA-1 Southbound will have a traffic switch onto the new LA-1 Southbound Bridge that will begin the night of October 17th, 2024, and will be completed by 4:00am on Friday, October 18th, 2024.
