H.015424 – US 190 WB ROAD CLOSURE – EAST BATON ROUGE

Attention:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that there will be a full road closure along US 190 Westbound at the interchange of US 190/LA 67 (Plank Rd) beginning Monday, October 21, and ending Sunday, November 3, 2024. Ramp Closures and Detour information for this continuous closure are provided below.
RAMP CLOSURES:
- US 190 EB to LA 67 NB – CLOSED
- LA 67 NB to US 190 WB – CLOSED
These closures are necessary to perform bridge structure repairs.
These closures are subject to change due to adverse weather conditions.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
DETOUR INFORMATION:
US-190 WB will be closed at LA-67 Plank Rd North Connector Road, this is due west of the US-190 and Beechwood Dr intersection. Travelers needing to continue US-190 WB will enter the connector road, continue West on the connector road paralleling US-190 WB, and re-enter US-190 WB between the Monte Sano Bayou and I-110 overpass. Travelers needing to access I-110 will enter the connector road, cross back onto US-190 WB via a newly installed asphalt diversion road and access the I-110 on ramps from US-190 WB as usual.
Ramp from US-190 EB to LA-67 Plank Rd North will be closed, travelers on US-190 EB needing access to LA-67 Plank Rd North will need to detour to I-110 N, to LA-408 East, to access LA-67 Plank Rd North.
Ramp from LA-67 Plank Rd North to US-190 WB will be closed, travelers on LA-67 Plank Rd North needing access to US-190 WB will need to detour to Evangeline St, to I-110 NB, to access US-190 WB.
