UPDATED: The La. 82 Bridge over Seventh Ward Canal, located 4.35 miles east of L.a 35, is NOW OPEN to traffic.
VERMILION PARISH, La. - Effective immediately, the La. 82 Bridge over Seventh Ward Canal, located 4.35 miles east of LA35, is closed until further notice for structural repairs.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The posted detour for the road closure will consist of La. 35, La. 335, La. 694 and La. 82.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
