Alternating lane closure: US 171 (Martin Luther King Hwy.) between Moeling St. and US 90 (Fruge St.) – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be alternating lane closures on US 171 (Martin Luther King Highway) between Moeling Street and US 90 (Fruge Street) from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
The closure is necessary for work crews to perform roadway borings for an upcoming project.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
