Improvements at US 90 & LA 97 to begin Oct. 2, 2024: intermittent lane closures expected for duration of project – Jefferson Davis Parish

Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that State Project H.015358 will begin on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Crews will be doing improvement work at US 90 from Myers Road to South Railroad Avenue and LA 97 from Roberts Avenue to East Shankland Avenue.
Motorists can expect intermittent daily lane closures in both directions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until the project is complete. The project is estimated to be complete by mid-summer 2025.
Closures are necessary for crews to complete milling of asphalt pavement, pavement patching, asphalt roadway paving, concrete walk and curb ramps and related work.
