EXTENDED!! I-10 EB on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from MM 117.7 to MM 127, St. Martin Parish, Lane Closure

UPDATE: THIS CLOSURE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2024, WEATHER PERMITTING.
I-10 Eastbound on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from mile marker 117.7 to mile marker 127.0 will be reduced to one lane, 2.4 miles east of LA 347 to the Iberville Parish Line, beginning Monday, September 30 through Monday, October 7, nightly, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary to install a fiber optic cable.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 20 foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays.
