UPDATE: The work scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2024, has been canceled. Work will resume on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces there will be alternating intermittent lane closures on LA 108 at its intersection with LA 27 (S. Beglis Parkway), starting Monday, September 23, 2024, until Friday, September 27, 2024.
Closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily.
The closures are necessary for crews to install new signal equipment at the intersection.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
