I-49 NB & SB from Exit 4 (Carencro) to the Avoyelles Parish Line, Lafayette/St. Landry/Evangeline Parish, Lane Closure for Herbicide Application

The left lane of I-49 Northbound and Southbound from Exit 4 - LA 726 (Carencro) to the Avoyelles Parish Line (mile marker 46) in Lafayette, St. Landry and Evangeline Parishes will be closed on Wednesday, September 18 from 6:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. for Herbicide Application.
All Permit and Oversized loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass but may encounter delays.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds motorists to please drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
