The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, September 9th, 2024 at 7:00 pm, weather permitting, construction will begin on the I-49 North bound off ramp at exit 83 and exit 84. Alternating lane closures are expected to last from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am each day. The lane closures described above will allow for the installation of new overhead signs. This phase of the project is expected to end Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 7:00 am.
This construction project consists of replacing traffic signs, and related work.
The contract was awarded to Alpha Service And Products, Inc. in the amount of $1,988,131.20
Permit/Detour section
There are no detours at this time associated with the lane closures.
