Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the following closures are scheduled on US 165 at Interstate 10.
- Monday, September 9, 2024, and Tuesday, September 10, 2024: Right lane of US 165 Northbound from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
- Wednesday, September 11, 2024, and Thursday, September 12, 2024: US 165 Northbound full closure from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.
- Monday, September 16, 2024, and Tuesday, September 17, 2024: US 165 Southbound full closure from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. nightly.
Detour routes:
US 165 NB:
- Detour US 165 Northbound by heading east onto I-10 South Frontage Road, then north onto LA 101, then north onto US 165.
- Detour I-10 Westbound by traveling west onto LA 3258, then north onto LA 383, then west onto I-10 Westbound on ramp at LA 383.
US 165 SB:
- Detour west onto LA 101, then south onto LA 383, then east onto LA 3258, then south onto US 165.
- The I-10 Westbound on ramp will remain open to US 165 Southbound traffic.
