POSTPONED: DOTD announces road closure on La. 758 for railroad construction

UPDATE: The following work has been postponed. DOTD will update the public once a new date has been determined.
EUNICE, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, La. 758 near Eunice will be closed to all traffic at the railroad tracks located approximately 210 feet north of U.S. 190, weather permitting.
The road will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
This closure is needed to allow Union Pacific Railroad to replace the concrete pads at this location.
Detour
The detour consists of U.S. 190 to the east junction of La. 95 to La. 758.
