REOPENED: Judge Seeber Bridge (LA 39) Closed for Electrical Work on Thurs./Friday

UPDATE: 3 pm, Friday, Sept. 6, 2024: THE BRIDGE HAS REOPENED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC.

New Orleans—The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the Judge Seeber Bridge (LA 39) will be closed to vehicular traffic in Orleans Parish due to electrical issues that are currently being addressed. DOTD estimates the problem will be resolved by the end of the day on Friday, weather permitting.

DOTD will follow up with more information as it becomes available.
