Detour: LA 1 SB: Motorists should continue southbound past LA 943 to the intersection of LA 1 (W 10th Street) and LA 1. Motorist should take a right onto LA 1 along Bayou LaFourche until the intersection with LA 943. Motorist should take a right onto LA 943 to complete the detour. LA 1 NB: Motorists should continue northbound past LA 943 to the intersection of LA 1 and LA 1. Motorist should take a left onto LA 1 northbound (towards White Castle) until the intersection with LA 943. Motorist should take a left onto LA 943 to complete the detour.
Restrictions: Local traffic will only be permitted during the extent of this closure.

LA 943 will be closed in both directions between LA 1 and LA 1 beginning Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 AM, and extending thru Friday, March 14th at 3:30 PM 2025. This closure is necessary to replace a cross drain pipes underneath LA 943.
