UPDATE: The dates in BOLD below have been added the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge inspection schedule*.

*With inspections on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge anticipated to take place over the next several weeks, please keep in mind that dates may be removed from or added to the schedule, weather permitting.

ST. MARTIN/IBERVILLE PARISH, La. - DOTD announces that Interstate 10 in the eastbound and westbound directions, along the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, will have alternating lane closures during the following times:

Eastbound Lane Closures:
  • Tuesday, September 3, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 5, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Monday, September 9, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Monday, September 16, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 17, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 18, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Westbound Lane Closures:
  • Wednesday, September 4, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 6, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, September 19, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 20, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • Monday, September 23, from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.

The road will be open to regular traffic with a 16-foot lane restriction on over-sized loads passing through the work zone.
