***UPDATE***I-10 WB lane closure (MM 10-MM 7) – Calcasieu Parish

UPDATE: The I-10 Westbound Exit 8 ramp to LA 108 will NOT be closed during this work.
Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Westbound from Mile Marker 10 to Mile Marker 7 will be closed, starting 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024, until 6 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete shoulder/ramp reconstruction.
Alternate routes:
- Motorists can exit onto LA 27 at Exit 21 going north, then left on US 90 West, left on LA 3063 in Vinton and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 WB.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
