LA 849 in Caldwell Parish *Update: OPEN*

Update (8/20/2024): LA 849 is open to all vehicular traffic.
DOTD appreciates your patience while crews completed a cross drain replacement.
(8/19/2024) The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm there will be a road closure on LA 849 approximately 4.3 miles east of US 165 in Caldwell Parish. This closure is to allow maintenance crews to replace a cross drain.
Detour: South on US 165, East LA 126.
Restrictions/Permits: The roadway will be closed to all traffic.
