ROAD CLOSURE: LA 151 / UNION PARISH

*******LA 151 IS NOW OPEN TO TRAFFIC.*******
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning Monday, August 26, 2024, there will be a road closure on LA 151 at the bridge approx. 0.1 miles east of LA 33 in Union Parish. This closure is related to an ongoing project to replace four bridges along LA 151 in Lincoln and Union Parishes.
This closure is also dependent on the contractor opening the LA 151 0.25 miles west of Jones Rd on August 23, 2024 that is currently closed.
Detour: A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure. All vehicles must detour using LA 33, LA 822, and LA 145.
Restrictions/Permits: The roadway will be closed to all traffic.

LA DOTD and Brown Industrial Construction, Inc. appreciate your patience and remind you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking or biking near an active work zone.
