The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Monday, August 19th, the LA 813-3 Bridge over the Little Dugdemona River in Jackson Parish will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
The bridge will be closed approximately 1.75 miles east of US 167 near Hodge.
The closure is anticipated to last 2 weeks, and should be open Friday, August 30, 2024.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route:
A detour route will be signed and provided for the duration of the closure. All vehicles must detour using LA 147, US 167, and LA 813-3.
Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
