The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, beginning on Saturday, August 17th, two LA 4 Bridges over a creek in Jackson Parish, just east of the Chatham Super Bee Speedway, will be closed for necessary bridge repairs.
The bridges will be closed approximately 4.2 miles east and 5 miles east of LA 34 near Chatham.
The closure is anticipated to last 2 days, and should be open Sunday, August 18th, 2024.
Restrictions/Permits:
Total road closure at the specified location. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
