The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, August 19, 2024, the portion of LA 1196, beginning at the intersection of LA 115 to Vick Rd, will have alternating lane closures.
This 8.344 mile construction project consists of cross drain replacement, milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.
This contract was awarded to Gilchrist Construction Company, L.L.C. in the amount of $4,471,726.06.

There are no detours at this time associated with these alternating lane closures.
