***UPDATE***Black Bayou Pontoon Bridge OPEN to vehicle traffic - Calcasieu Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Black Bayou Pontoon Bridge on LA 384 (Big Lake Rd) has reopened to vehicle traffic.
Previous Notice:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Black Bayou Pontoon Bridge on LA 384 (Big Lake Rd) is currently closed to vehicle traffic until further notice due to mechanical issues.
The bridge remains open to marine traffic.
Motorists are advised to use the Grand Lake Pontoon Bridge on LA 384 as a detour route.
