Lane closures: I-10 EB from MM 8.5 (Exit 8) to MM 10 – Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the right lane of Interstate 10 Eastbound from Mile Marker 8.5 (Exit 8) to Mile Marker 10 will be closed, starting 7 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, until 6 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2024.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete shoulder reconstruction.
Alternate routes:
- Motorists can exit onto US 90 at Exit 4 going North, turn right onto US 90 going East, turn right on LA 27 in Sulphur, and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 EB.
- Motorists can exit onto LA 3063 at Exit 7 going North, turn right onto US 90 going East, turn right on LA 27 in Sulphur, and use the on-ramp to re-enter I-10 EB.
