DOTD announces project to make repairs to section of La. 182 in Iberia Parish

IBERIA PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, August 12, 2024, construction will begin on a $463,000 project on La. 182 between Bernard Drive and 0.8 miles south of Airport Boulevard.
The project consists of pavement patching, milling asphalt concrete, asphalt concrete overlay, pavement markings, and related work.
Work is estimated to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be alternating lanes closures throughout this project. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot maximum lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access to this area but may encounter delays.
The project is estimated for completion by October of 2024.
