$2.4 Million Preservation Project Set to Begin on La. 3174/La. 3173 in St. Landry Parish

ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, August 12, 2024, construction will commence on an $2.4 million project on La. 3174 and La. 3173 from La. 105 to U.S. 190 in St. Landry Parish.
This project will consist of milling asphalt pavement, base reconstruction, asphalt overlay, and related work.
Construction work is estimated to take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Drivers should expect delays, as intermittent lane closures will be required to perform the work. The road will be open to regular traffic with a 13-foot maximum lane width restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
Emergency vehicles will have access through this area.
The project is estimated for completion in December 2024.
