DOTD Announces Interstate Lane Closure for College Drive Flyover Project

Baton Rouge, La – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces an upcoming interstate lane closure associated with the College Drive Flyover project. This closure is necessary for crews to install new signage foundations between the westbound and realigned eastbound lanes of I-12. In addition, the left shoulder of eastbound I-12 will be temporarily closed from the I-10/I-12 split to Essen Lane. No detours will be required for this closure. Please note that all construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change.

I-12 Westbound:

Left lane closure from 9 p.m. Friday, July 26 to 5 a.m. Monday, July 29.

Safety reminder:
DOTD appreciates your patience and we would like to remind drivers to exercise caution and drive with care through construction sites. Please be mindful of work crews and their equipment, and adhere to all posted signage and speed limits.
