Road Closure
LA 119: 2.9 miles north of its intersection with LA 493
Natchitoches Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Monday, July 29th, 2024 LA 119 will be closed 2.9 miles north of its intersection with LA 493. This closure is needed to allow for the installation of a new cross drain at this location. This closure is expected to last approximately 2 days.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to thru and local traffic. The following detour will be provided:
Northbound traffic will travel north on LA 493 to its intersection with LA 484 then east on LA 484 to its intersection with LA 494 then east on LA 494 to its intersection with LA 119 then South on LA 119.
Southbound traffic will travel west on LA 494 to its intersection with LA 484 then west on LA 484 to its intersection with LA 493 then south on LA 493 to its intersection with LA 119 then north on LA 119.
