Lane closure: US 165 NB at I-10 – Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish

Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the right lane of US 165 Northbound at Interstate 10 will be closed from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, starting Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
The closure is expected to continue intermittently throughout the next two weeks.
The closures are necessary for crews to construct drilled shafts for the new I-10 Eastbound bridge.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
