Improvement work to begin soon on LA 3226 from US 190 to Vernon Parish line – Beauregard Parish

Beauregard Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that milling, patching and overlay work on LA 3226 from US 190 to the Vernon Parish line is scheduled to begin this week.
The work will stretch over three miles of LA 3226. The project is anticipated to continue through late summer or early fall 2024.
Prairie Contractors is the contractor for the project.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
