UPDATE: The bridge repair is complete and all lanes are open.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that LA 1156 over Mab Branch (1.0 mile south of LA 3206) will have alternating lane closures from 8:00am until 4:00pm beginning Monday, July 15th until Wednesday, July 17th.
The closures are necessary for routine bridge maintenance. All work is weather dependent.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
