I-10 EB Exit Ramp at Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas) & I-49 SB Exit Ramp at Exit 1A – I-10 (Baton Rouge), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closures

UPDATE: Due to weather delays this closure has been extended to include Tuesday, July 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.


I-10 Eastbound Exit Ramp at Exit 103B (I-49/US 167: Opelousas) & I-49 SB Exit Ramp at Exit 1A (I-10 East: Baton Rouge) will be closed on the following nights to allow crews to perform milling and paving operations for the I-10 outside lane at the ramps.

• Monday, July 15 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, July 16 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

• Tuesday, July 16 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 17 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

• Wednesday, July 17 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 18 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists traveling on I-10 eastbound will only be able to access I-49/US 167 (Opelousas) via the posted detour route, which includes continuing eastbound on I-10 to Exit 104 – Louisiana Avenue, turn north on Louisiana Avenue, then take I-10 Eastbound to Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas).

Motorists traveling on I-49 southbound will only be able to access I-10 Eastbound via the posted detour route, which includes continuing southbound on I-49/US 90 to Willow Street, turn east on Willow Street, then take US 90 northbound to Exit 1A (I-10 East - Baton Rouge).

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the entrance and exit ramp at I-10 EB Exit 103B – I-49/US 167 (Opelousas) & I-49 SB Exit Ramp at Exit 1A (I-10 East: Baton Rouge).

Detour routes will be posted during the ramp closure periods.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions with this work.
