Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces daily lane closures at the intersection of LA 1138-2 (Nelson Road) and Cagle Lane, starting Tuesday, July 9, 2024, through Thursday, July 11, 2024.
- The northbound right thru lane on LA 1138-2 will be closed.
- Cagle Lane will be restricted to right-out only.
- Southbound left turns will be restricted.
Motorists heading north on LA 1138-2 will still be able to turn right onto West Prien Lake Road.
The closures will be in effect from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
The closure is necessary for crews to perform traffic signal maintenance.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
